We strive to respect the environment while making a positive contribution to our local community by way of job creation and mentorship programmes.
Wherever possible, only local suppliers are supported to stimulate the surrounding economy – firewood, charcoal, vegetables, meat and mineral water and of course local labour is employed.
The environmental principles applied include:-  - A Bio waste water system where all grey water is recycled and used on the garden.
- All firewood is from Alien invader trees.Drinking water is provided from a borehole and treated via a "natural carbon filter".
- All lights are energy saving using 80% less electricity.
- Only Bio degradable soaps and dishwasher liquid is used.
- Only natural organic fertilizers are used and all garden waste is composted and recycled into the garden.
