Join Fiona on an animal welfare mission in Stormsriver West. Be prepared to get you hands dirty – this programme is sponsored by Stormsriver Adventures and includes education of children in animal care.

You may have to hold a dog or kitten during a de-worming or mange treatment, or help treat a wound.

Fiona will collect you in her old Nissan Sentra and take you on her rounds through rural Stormsriver.

Be prepared for an early start usually 7h30 to 08h00.

Wear functional clothing. Rounds usually take no more than one hour after which you will return to the Backpackers.
